Hello, I wanted to thank you first for this plugin, this plugin is the best security plugin I have ever seen for wordpress.

I’m having a problem: I use the plugin in my main domain, but when I install wordpress on the subdomain of this domain and run the wordpress install, I get a 403 error. The plugin is blocking access to the installation in the subdomain. Permission blocking!

What can I do to be able to run this installation on my subdomain? The only way would be to disable the plugin, run the install and re-enable the plugin again? Or is there some other way to do this without having to tweak the plugin?

Hi, do you have a multisite installation set up? Can you provide more information on how you are installing WordPress in your subdomain?

No, installation is basic in the main domain and also basic in the subdomain! It’s not multi-site!

I created a subdomain in my cpanel store.mydomain.com, I created a folder in public_html and did the normal process of installing wordpress!

Thank you for providing extra information. This security plugin does not stop you from adding sub domains or add-on domains. This issue is more related to permissions.

    In regards to your comment.

    Thank you

    Thanks for the answer!

After installing and running in the browser to start the wp installation, the 403 error appears!

I contacted my hosting and they told me that it is due to a .htaccess setup installed in the main domain that is causing the subdomain error. I found this very strange. So I did not want to temporarily disable .htaccess or the plugin to install wp in the subdomain, I think there should be another option.

Ps: I already checked all the permissions

I think maybe one of the firewall rules is causing that.
Have you tried doing some tests by disabling/re-enabling the firewall rules to see if you can find which one it is?

    Thanks, I’ll try this.
