Blocking a member / adding category tag to profile avtivity stream

  • 1. I’d like to find a way for a member to be able to totally block a member from contacting them, ideally even from being able to find them via any search on site, but can’t find any plugin to achieve that. This is quite a surprise to me as I’d imagine this should be both instinctively and intuitively a common concern for most community sites. I’m wondering if anyone can help me with this? or did I miss something out?

    2. I’d like to, if possible, add category tag to all the posts listed in members’ profile Activity feed. This is something nice to have. Currently, it shows author, post title and “# of days ago” it was published. But I’m not sure if this is theme-related or not since I’m quite new to all this.

    Thank you for telling me about BuddyBlock. I really appreciate that.

    It does sound like something I’m looking for but there is no review available. It’s a premium plugin so it would be a good idea to read its reviews first. A quick Google search does not return any review.

    Worse than that, not sure why, I’ve been fighting a flu since posting this thread and today when I tried to log into my website which is localhosted on my hard drive, no browser could open it. They all say it can’t be reached / connected. Now I can’t even access my site.

    Can anybody give me a clue what might have happened? Thank you.
