    Hi,

Having issues with wordfence blocking siteorigin editor plugin. everytime i have wordfence activated, siteorigin stops working and i can’t edit my pages. Nothing shows up in live traffic so i have no idea what it is blocking. I tried to use learning mode but that dosent work either.
This shows up in the console:

    Uncaught Error: ace.edit can't find div #single_custom_css_ace
        at t.edit (ace.js?ver=6.1.1:1:369026)
        at HTMLDocument.<anonymous> (scripts-ace.js:9:22)
        at e (load-scripts.php?c=0&load%5Bchunk_0%5D=jquery-core,jquery-migrate,utils,regenerator-runtime,wp-polyfill,wp-hooks&ver=6.1.1:2:30038)

    How do i solve this?

    Hi @ollkar,

Two of the best methods for diagnosing whether Wordfence is doing the blocking would indeed be Live Traffic and Learning Mode as you’ve done. In fact, if Live Traffic doesn’t register any blocks when the errors occur, it’d be unexpected for Wordfence to have taken any deliberate firewall action.

It’s possible that a Javascript conflict is occurring, which is stopping the scripts-ace.js file mentioned from loading. If you run SiteOrigin with all other plugins disabled along with a default theme such as Twenty Twenty-Two, does the error disappear? If so, reenable Wordfence only. If the script is still loading successfully, reenable your theme and other plugins one-by-one until it returns to find the source of the conflict.

Let me know how you get on!

    Peter.

    Hi @wfpeter,

Tried what you suggested but with no avail. If i only use siteorigin and wordfence it works but i cant activate any of my remaining 15 plugins. weird.
I tried creating a new page completely with the same layout and somehow it worked!
    Maybe something was corrupted idk.

    Thank you for your help.
