Hi! Even though I defined in the settings of your plugin that I installed on my site, that after 6 failed attempts the IP address will be blocked. Nevertheless, when I try to enter the dashboard of my site I get only 3 options and no more, why is this happening?

My site is for subscribers and I don’t want one of my customers to get stuck after 3 attempts who may have forgotten their password.

    Thank you very much

Try to unlock your IP address from the Logs page and then test it again. It’s possible that the lockout made with the previous settings continue using those settings instead of the new ones. Or you can try making failed attempts from a new IP address and see if that works. Let us know. After you made more than 3 attempts, how does the error message change? Do you have any caching plugins installed?

Thank you very much, I have now tested on another computer and it worked perfectly fine as I set it up with 5 attempts!

What I’m asking, I notice that it only works on the normal WordPress login page, but on the page I made myself with Elementor to login to my customers who are subscribed to the website, it doesn’t work, nor do we see how many options there are to keep trying to login to the website.
Is there a way to display this also on a page built with Elementor? Here is the link to this page.

Are you on Elementor hosting? They use an old copy of our plugin but rebranded it and banned ours. So our support is very limited in those types of situations.

No, it’s just an Elementor widget with the option to login using a username and password.
I understand that in this case it is not possible to limit the entries with your plugin?

    Thank you.

If a login page is built w/o using regular WP authorization hooks, then there will be issues.

Thank you very much, I suggest you upgrade the option of the plugin to be suitable also for Elementor’s login widget or something similar in the future.
The normal login option of WordPress, is not convenient enough compared to the existing features with login widgets today. Recommend you add the security option for this as well. This will greatly upgrade the capability of your plugin!

    Thank you for your support!

We have this in our pipeline with low priority.
