Blocking Hotlinking will not allow pintrest to retrieve images from my site

This was never an issue until recently, but now when I have the prevent hot linking feature on pintrest can no longer find my images when someone tries to pin from my site. I have the feature turned off right now. But I do want to prevent hot linking from my site. However, I also get a lot of traffic by way of pintrest and need my images to be shareable. Help please! Thanks!
