You need full digits in case of IPv4. If you want to specify the certain range of address, use CIDR notation.
You can find the range of IP addresses and CIDR assigned by a organization in “Whois” section on “Search” tab. Please refer to https://www.ipgeoblock.com/changelog/release-2.2.8.html
https://www.ipaddressguide.com/cidr is also a useful tool.
