• I’ve got a person that apparently loves sharing my posts with hundreds of people. I’ve install the image verification and limited the number of times he can post in any given period, but he’s still abusing the privilege. His emails are not to friends (he prefaces each one with “To Whom it may concern”); they are media outlets or government agencies.

His email is also false, so requests for me to stop bounce.

I want to block him entirely. At this point, I could care less if he even gets to read my site.

Is there a way to block IPs or false emails from using WP-Email?

  • do you have his ip?

these days, even working email addresses are easy to fake, pick just about any 6 character gmail addy and its real. hotmail, etc..

merely validating that you have ‘something’@’something.’something’ wont work in your case, either obviously.

did u try bad behaviour or something? I think there is a plugin that can block an ip from visiting your blog
