Blocking Options not working and unable to block referral spam.

    I newly installed this plugin.
    Under blocking options I created several blocking rules.
    As my website is getting referral spam from bottraffic4free.xyz, I added all its IP addresses in the IP block and as an additional measure in advanced block I also added referrer- *bottraffic4free.xyz.
    But still I am getting referral spam traffic from this website.

    Please resolve this issue.

    Can you please try adding the rule below to your Custom Pattern rules and let me know if it helps?

    I have added every possible blocking options.
    I have added these blocking options-

    Advanced Block Referrer – *bottraffic4free* June 2, 2020 7:21 AM For blocking fake traffic. Permanent 0 Never

    Advanced Block Referrer – *bottraffic4free.xyz June 1, 2020 1:02 PM Sending fake traffic to my website. Permanent 0 Never

    IP Block 172.67.158.89 June 1, 2020 12:48 PM Sending fake traffic to my website. Permanent 0 Never

    IP Block 104.27.162.250 June 1, 2020 12:48 PM Sending fake traffic to my website. Permanent 0 Never

    IP Block 104.27.163.250 June 1, 2020 12:47 PM Sending fake traffic to my website. Permanent 0 Never

    But still I am receiving spam referral traffic from bottraffic4free.xyz. Please suggest some solution to this.

    Can you please share screenshots of both your Custom Pattern settings and the expanded Details of these hits in Wordfence > Live Traffic?

    Hi Gerroald, I am very happy to say that since yesterday, I stopped receiving spam referral traffic from bottraffic4free.xyz.

    I don’t know which one worked as I tried many options like installing Wordfence plugin, contacting hosting provider to block this traffic, etc.

    But the good thing is that I succeeded in blocking that unwanted traffic to my website.

    By the way, the live traffic feature is very cool.
