I was wondering please if someone can help me. A website called blogpros.com has got my website blocked on Facebook and Instagram by sending spam. I have tried to block this by going to block and then custom pattern and referrer and typing in *blogpros.com*. Can someone please confirm that this is correct? I am not sure how to check if I’ve done it correctly. Thank you in advance.

    Hey @ukbeautyroom,

You’re correct with the syntax you’re using to block the referrer. However, if you’re still experiencing this afterward your site may be compromised. Are you able to share the URL?

    Thanks,

    Hi Gerroald
Thanks so much for your help. My website is ukbeautyroom.com. I’m very upset that my site became blocked on Facebook and Instagram after trying blogpros.com. I’d be really grateful for any advice. Thanks so much for helping me.

    Hi @ukbeautyroom,

I put your website through Facebook’s Open Graph Debugger:

    https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/sharing/?q=ukbeautyroom.com

This is the message I’m presented with:

We can't review this website because the content doesn't meet our Community Standards. If you think this is a mistake, please let us know.

If your website was automatically flagged for spam, it should expire within 30 days. In the meantime, you can click on let us know and send them a manual flag for review.

There’s nothing you can do with Wordfence settings to get your site unblocked on Facebook/Instagram.

I did flag it to Facebook months ago and after not posting for months I was unblocked. Whenever I start posting on my blog blogpros.com picks this up and starts sending spam posting my blog post all over the internet and then I get banned again on Facebook. What I want to do is stop blogpros.com from recognising when I post and sending this spam. I already know wordfence is not going to stop the Facebook ban. I want to block blogpros.com

My request has nothing to do with Facebook. Can someone please help with my request above?

I don’t understand how another website is able to recognise when I post on my blog and then send this spam all over the Internet. Surely there is a way I can block the website from picking up my RSS feed ?

    Hey @ukbeautyroom,

We had a conversation about this earlier. Is it possible that you, or a colleague signed up for an account with blogpros.com to help with social media sharing? Can you please contact their support to see if there’s an open account for your site?

    [email protected]

Please let us know what they say.

    Thanks,

    Hi Gerroald
I signed up in May this year for a month’s trial of blogpros.com and then asked them after 2 days to cancel it once I realised they had caused my site to become blocked. A month later I received an email from them saying it was cancelled however they have continued to post my site prolifically over social media whenever I write a blog post. Is there no way I can block them from picking up my RSS feed (or however they can tell I’ve written a blog post?). Or can I block them from repeatedly posting my site all over the Internet? They told me it was cancelled in May and it’s now November so I’m looking for other options to try and stop this.
    Thanks
    Olivia

    Hey @ukbeautyroom,

Unfortunately, I believe they’re going to need to actually disable what’s happening. I’m not familiar with their platform, but there could be a bug. I’d suggest reaching out to them once again.

    Thanks,

    Gerroald

@ukbeautyroom a stupid question, how did you find out about who got you blocked? I have the same issue with FB and simply can’t get to the bottom of why I have been flagged as spam
    thanks,
    Jarek

    Hey @ukbeautyroom,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’ve gone ahead and marked this thread as resolved.

Please feel free to open another thread if you have any additional questions or issues.

    Thanks,

    Gerroald
