    Hi,

Every time I try to add the sql query to run using either Exports and Report or DB browser it triggers a Wordfence error:

A potentially unsafe operation has been detected in your request to this site
Your access to this service has been limited. (HTTP response code 403)

If you think you have been blocked in error, contact the owner of this site for assistance.

    Block Technical Data
Block Reason:	A potentially unsafe operation has been detected in your request to this site

I cannot work out how to allow these plugins to run the SQL query. Can anyone help?

    Thanks.

    Hi @butteredhost,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

You’re seeing this message because Wordfence has blocked you for violating a firewall rule. You can read more about this here: https://www.wordfence.com/help/blocking/troubleshooting/#block-reasons

You have a couple of options:

    1. Change the WAF into Learning Mode.
From the Wordfence Dashboard, select Manage WAF. Then you will see Basic Firewall Options > Web Application Firewall Status. Change the option to Learning Mode. Now perform the actions that were causing issues. This will help Wordfence learn that these actions are normal and it will allow them in the future. After you have finished performing the actions, switch the WAF from Learning Mode back to Enabled and Protecting. Now test to see if these actions work correctly.

https://www.wordfence.com/help/firewall/learning-mode/ is an amazing resource for learning more about the WAF and learning mode.

    2. Check the “Tools” > “Live Traffic” page feed and locate the request that was blocked. From there, you can add the blocked request to the allowlist.

Let me know if this works for you.

    Thanks,
    Tiffany
