Yes, you could do something like this https://perishablepress.com/how-to-block-proxy-servers-via-htaccess/ and add that code to BPS Custom Code.

    1. You would add that code in this BPS Root Custom Code text box: CUSTOM CODE BOTTOM HOTLINKING/FORBID COMMENT SPAMMERS/BLOCK BOTS/BLOCK IP/REDIRECT CODE
    2. Click the Save Root Custom Code button.
    3. Go to the Security Modes page, click the Create secure.htaccess File AutoMagic button and activate Root folder BulletProof Mode again.

Thanks for the link and instructions.
I was wondering since my site is https does that code work for me? the code shows http on it. I’m wondering if i have to change the code’s http to https. If it doesn’t matter let me know. Thanks for the swift reply.

Hmm that is a good question and I assume that you would just chang HTTP to HTTPS, but I have never tested that code before so I don’t know if it works at all. I will test that code tomorrow and let you know if it works or not.

I still have not played around with that code, but you would not change HTTP to HTTPS in that code. HTTPS rewriting is handled by your HTTPS/SSL htaccess rewrite code. ie all requests to your site whether they are HTTP or HTTPS are rewritten to HTTPS. Hopefully I will find some spare time to play around with that code either today or tomorrow.

Alright thanks for clearing that up for me, and thanks for taking the time out to consider checking out the code.

I tested that code using Boom Proxy and I can still view the site normally so maybe that code no longer works anymore. Or maybe the code does not work for online Proxies. Not really sure.

Alright, thanks for taking the time out man i appreciate it. I also did some further testing and found a php code to do the same thing but. the code has a really good chance to block Google Bots so i decided its not a good thing to put on my website since its a blogging site after all.

Hey, i also checked out your team’s website for the BPS plugin and i really like the plugin but im having a tough time understanding what additional security features i would get for purchasing the premium version. if you could explain to me please.

There is a Feature page here: https://www.ait-pro.com/bulletproof-security-pro-flash/bulletproof.html that has a side by side and brief descriptions of features.
