Blockquote color

hey guy, I’m needing a huge help from you.
I’m able to change de type of blockquote but not the color, I have searched on several web pages but they all say to change the color on the own blockquote, but I have changed and doesn’t make any progress.
I checked if changing the menus primary color it would make any change and for my astonishment it worked, but I want the menu purple and the blockquote white or whatever color I desire.
Do you guys know how to solve this???
