• I can no longer use the Top Toolbar to access block editing tools since updating to 6.3 – If I hover over where the items should be the cursor changes to a hand so they must be there but I can’t see them! I’ve tried turning off all plugins and just using the Twenty Twenty-Three theme and have the same issue. Any ideas?

Have just installed a brand new copy of WordPress and exactly the same problem – anyone listening from WordPress?

Having the exact same issue. Additionally, when I use the floating toolbar, the ability to change heading levels is invisible. I finally discovered that it’s still there, but only visible once you click on the empty space where it should be.

But having that top toolbar was really efficient and not having access to that any more is a real downgrade.

Are you all using Safari? I just tried accessing a WP site using Chrome and the top toolbar appeared.

I can confirm that this is a Safari issue for me. Working fine in FF and Chrome.

    Agreed – it’s a Safari thing – what’s to be done?

The issues appears to be tied to Block themes.

On a generic install of v6.3.1 the top bar is there, but if I change the theme to a classic theme, like GeneratePress or TwentyTwentyOne, then the top bar is no longer visible.

With the Astra theme, the top bar is visible for some blocks but not for others. Very confusing.

This is a very frustrating issue and does not appear to be a browser issue as the behavior changes depending on the activated theme.

Confirmed here too on v6.3.1. Using Safari and enabling Top Toolbar results in tools moving to the top and becoming invisible. Mouseover still shows tooltip, tools still work if clicked on but icons are not visible. Top Toolbar works as expected in FF and Chrome.
