blocks legitimate comments

  • i thought it was great, since spam died off the second i installed it. unfortunately, so did all other comments, and i soon learned from readers that none of them were able to leave comments. they all received an error that the date field needed to be blank, and to try again. since the date field was apparently filling itself in, it viewed everyone as a spammer.

  • Do you have Caching plugin installed?

    If yes, then you should clear all Cache on your site and Anti-spam plugin should work perfectly.

    This error also could appear if theme does not use ‘comment_form’ action.

    I updated the plugin to version 1.7 and now Anti-spam plugin should work even if cache is not cleared or if theme does not use ‘comment_form’.
