Blocks Many Of Our Buyers

  • The Plugin does its job. However, it blocks out many of our customers as well.

    We did not find out how serious it is. Until today, one customer called us saying he was blocked out trying to purchase few things. We realize it is the plugin and turn it off. Customer then can access our site and made few hundred dollars purchase. If he did not call us, we will lost this sale for sure.

    This reminds us another occasion that an elderly trying to make purchase in front of our counter. He was blocked. We ended up letting him to use our device to complete the purchase.

    We did not know and possibly will never know how many sales lost due to customer being blocked out and end up buying from our competitors.

    Besides, before we add our IPs to whitelist, we quite often get blocked too. And we need to use cpanel to rename the plugin folder name to get back in.

    The purpose of the plugin is good, but it is too harsh for e-commerce sites. Loosing visitors for a blog may not be a big deal. But loosing one customer, we are loosing hundreds of sales.

    The plugin does its job very well if it is configured properly. It seems you were obsessed with your sales and had no time to check the WP Cerber dashboard. But if you would, you would see multiple red signs here and there. If you would see them, you would do something about it and would configure the plugin properly. Instead, you just added your IP address to the white access list, which is wrong and has led to what you get now.

    I am amazed by the non existent quality of OP’s report on the one hand and the seriousness the OP seems to have on the other hand.

    Let me rephrase this for the OP:

    Btw, my post has no added value what so ever. I just hope @gioni and other possible contributors to this plugin also have some fun time with reviews like this and don’t get discouraged from a 1-star rating >D
