Hmm, let’s verify one thing. Can you please try a Customiser re-save? Simply go to the Customiser, make the slightest change and save the changes to regenerate all CSS.

I had the same problem. It′s a brand new page. Suddenly a transparent header (the customizer didn′t show the change), misproportions on the top of page, the pages showed the backend menu! And the shortcodes didn′t work anymore. I tried the re-save. Didn′t work out.

I got back to my back-ups.

Yes, I updated the theme. Thanks for the offer, but I stay with the last versions and don′t touch my site anymore. ?? I just wanted to tell you Alekseis problem is not an exception.

Eduard (@cteduard) Thank you for your advice! Saving partially helped. The header, page background and footer are no longer transparent. But many styles are still broken (black color of frames and text, text of menu items (on hoover), etc.) (see?https://oncogenetic.org/publications/). Perhaps the classes or attributes of key page elements (like header, footer, section, article etc) have been changed in the latest version of the theme?
