blodotgsping_url

Hi, I’ve recently upgraded to the new beta, to test it out. My concern is pinging various content listors when I update my site, like weblogs.com etc.
From looking at the code, the funtions look for https://www.example.com … this is the URL that is also listed as the value in blodotgsping_url in the options page for RSS/RDF. It says I shouldn’t need to change it, but do I?
Shouldn’t it have my own URL, not example.com? Maybe I’m missing something here……..
