blog aggregation

I am fairly new to blogging, but I have a site with active fourms. We want to start a blog that automatically aggregates posts from other blogs in our industry.

Ideally the aggregator would display the headlines and a few sentences of the posts from the oher blogs. Of course the posts would be attributed to their original sources and would be linked to them as well.

Is there any software available that does this?
