I’ve seen similar threads with conflicts using “Optimize Press – theme+plug in” — I’ve sent the below request to their customer support and seek input here as well. Thank you.

I have spent HOURS attempting to get “The Events Calendar” from Modern Tribe to work.

The /myevents url -custom link- returns a page titled “Blog Archives” which I didn’t create with some text -pulled from the post -jibberish – and a “continue reading” link.

If I click “continue reading” I will see the second event of two entered to test the calendar and at the bottom of the page will be able to click to previous/next – however any link from the menu or the “All Events” link returns to the “Blog Archives” page.

So the Events Page is not populating with the Events posts.

I’ve made most every conceivable adjustment – changing settings etc.

How can this be made to work?

Or please recommend a Events Calendar Plugin with similar functionality that you know to not conflict with OP2

Everything is updated to the latest versions all compatibility passes.

A good functional events calendar is essential to this build so I must have one that works with OP2.

    Thanks
    Tim

    Hi,

Sorry for the issues. I am not sure about that theme’s settings.

However, the Events Calendar does not create any pages. It setups the main views of Month, List, Day, Map, Photo, etc as archives.

This means that any archive settings can break the Events Calendar. It is best if the theme has a setting to enable full content to display in the archives and that resolves most issues.

That is about all I can provide for theme compatibility issues unfortunately.
