blog-by-mail –> no connection to any pop3

  • HI,
    just got a problem with the blog-by-mail function. doesnt matter which mail account i′am using (neither yahoo nor GMX) the script is unable to connect to the pop3 server. i′ve tried it with the integrated solution as well as with postie and i′am always gettin an error message

    Connecting to pop.mail.yahoo.de:110 (pop3))
    Mail Connection Time Out

    Common Reasons:

    Server Down

    Network Issue

    Port/Protocol MisMatch

    The Server Said POP3 connect: Error [] []

    any guess what′s going wrong here???
    maybe my server isn′t supporting any neccessary things???
