    I also noticed that the buddypress bar is not working on the blog

    If you search this forums, you’ll see others with the same issue of blogs with no stylesheet.

    they all have the same answer – your htaccess file is not being read properly. You may need
    AllowOverride FileInfo Options
    in Apache’s httpd.conf file.

    For the BP admin bar not being shown on the user blogs – ask in the bp forums.
