I have added the word “Blog” to my main menu by creating a blank page. However, now I cannot figure out how to link my posts to appear chronologically after someone clicks the main menu for “Blog”.

  • Look under ‘Settings -> Reading’.

Set the ‘Front page displays’ to ‘A static page’ and then set ‘Posts page’ to the ‘Blog’ page that you’ve created.

That did not do it. Front page is set as “A static page” and I went to Posts > All Posts and entered “Blog” in the categories for my two trial posts. All I get when I hit the “Blog” on the menu is ‘Blog’ appears where I expect to find my posts.

What did you set in the drop-down for ‘Posts page’?

Are you asking did I click on “Blog” for the category of my two trial posts? If so, I did.

    No, that’s not what I meant. ??

On the admin page at ‘Settings -> Reading’, what page is set under the drop down for ‘Posts page’?
