BLOG DISAPPEARED

  • Hi,
    my blog disappeared, that is all the blog posts disappeared that I had on my blog after I upgraded to 3.3.1. Only the titles are left. Though at the same time I got an email about a new user registered at my site, and I got emails for transfer and renewal for my site which I havent bothered about since I already had a registrar? I am confused! And need my blog back, can you help me please?

    Hi, I am not sure, I havent done a backup manually,
    I mean it is not something which is done automatically then?

    Dont really think I ever did this.
    So I understand it, that this is what I should do.
    I checked the posts, and they are all there when
    I go into the admin panel, but when I click
    on the blog page on my page they are not there.

    And when I go into Bluehost, and click on link to my
    blog there it now redirects me to:
    https://www.latentlucia.com/blog

    which is another site, that I started and which is not self-
    hosted. However, when I am redirected there, it is completely empty
    of course.

    No. Try asking your hosts if they have a backup.

    Check to make sure your site URL is correct. If you’re being directed to /blog and your domain is not setup there, it sounds like you might have an incorrectly-set URL. Log into your site and check your two URLs in the General settings.

    If you can’t log in, you can check from PHPMyAdmin. See: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Changing_The_Site_URL#Changing_the_URL_directly_in_the_database
