Define ‘disappearing’? And can you share your URL?

If it’s the white screen of death, that’s normally a PHP problem, so I’d guess a theme or plugin issue.

It’s the white screen of death. https://www.deepdiscountgems.com with the Lifestyle 4.0 by StudioPress.

    try:

-deactivating ALL plugins temporarily to narrow down and possibly fix the problem. If the problem goes away, activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the culprit.

If you don’t have access to your admin area, try deactivating them manually via FTP or phpMyAdmin.

-switching to the default theme (“twentyten”) for a moment by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes. The idea is to force WordPress to fall back to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific issue.

If you don’t have access to your admin area, then access your server via FTP or SFTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

So the conflict was wp-super-cache or w3-total-cache. Reinstalling the plugin fixed the issue. Thanks for all of your help!

I have a new blog which started with the version before 3.1.

I just updated to 3.1 and now I can’t get to the blog website–it just keeps saying “waiting for https://blog.mormonletters.org/…” at the bottom of the window.

I backed up the phpMyAdmin database as instructed on the WordPress website.

    What do I do now?

    Help, please?
