Blog down – please help

    My blog – https://theconnexion.net/wp – has died! Visitors are being re-directed to the ‘install wordpress’ screen. My attempts to log in as the admin meet the same result.
    I’d been using 2.6.3
    I’ve just tried to install 2.6.5, and the ‘upgrade’ page is also re-directing.

    I feel completely stymied: what should I do next?

    you need to check your options table inside the database, and probably repair it.

    a corrupt options table is what causes that.

    I can’t even get into my database from mypanel.

    I think I might be completely screwed.

    It turns out that (and here I quote my hosting provider) “constant queries to the database that are causing our server to have load problems”. So they’ve taken me down.

    And, at the risk of sounding feeble, I don’t know what to do.

    I would be finding another host. and then I would disable the revisions and auto-save “features”.
