• Hi,

I’m sure I should know the answer to this but I can’t figure it out!

I am setting up a business paypal account for a store that I’m setting up on my blog. It is asking me for a custoer service email address to give to paying customers.
I don’t want to give my personal email address and would like to have a customer service address, which is part of my blog and I will be able to go to it on the dashboard.

Does anyone have any advice on how I could set up a blog email address?

    Much appreciated!

  • You can’t pick up email via your blog. Set up a new email address on your server and pick up your mail using webmail or your normal email client.

Do you want an email address like [email protected]? Then go to the control panel of your domain as given by your web host and create a pop mail account like that. Hope your hosting package includes creation of POP mail accounts. If you have any difficulty over this matter, you can seek help from the sysadmin of your web host.

You can then use it for the Paypal account.

But you can’t use WordPress to manage the mails. As esmi pointed out, you’d have to use either your mail client or web mail for accessing the mails to and from the email ID created on your domain.
