I run a large (and growing) site. The main page is largely blog, but this is designed to eventually be a wildlife travel marketplace

My issue is simple. The blog contains news about the environment and the natural world. On the website, there are pages about a large number of species, and this should grow over time. Each species page has a smart post show box, which lists all of the stories that I have written on the species in question.

What I am trying to work out, is a way to be able to have blogposts on these species pages which do not appear on the main page – if you are particularly interested in a specific species, you may be interested in more small details than the average reader. How should I do this? As I say above, I already have a smart post show on each of these pages, which gives a list of any articles which have mentioned the species in the past, however, I want a way for researchers and similar to be able to put forward articles on say the “Checkered elephant shrew”, that would appear on the page for this species.

Do I need to put in hundreds of subblogs? I already have the plugin user submitted posts, which I will use to create the posts in the first place. This is obviously only going to work if it is fully automated, as otherwise it could require multiple full time workers.

A harder (possibly?) but linked issue, is to in some way have a list of subblog posts that go up, so that I can look through them (delete anything that is clear spam) and put any articles that I think have wider interest on the main blog. It should be noted, that while you are quite welcome to look at the website, there is no specific page to look at (as you can see there would be by my question)

I hope someone has a nifty idea, that would allow this to work well

Thanks in advance for any help
