• I just spent a good portion of an hour writing a blog entry. One page was my updates and the other was the view. Everything looked perfect, so I pressed PUBLISH on the update page, and closed the view. When I went to my site to see the post, all I got was the TITLE and the entire page was empty. When I went back to the edit field, the 4 pictures I had uploaded were still there, but what happened to the meat and potatoes? My writing is all gone. It was there when I pushed PUBLISH, so this does not make sense. Help!

  • It could have been the result of a connection problem at your end, a server glitch, your own machine struggling – Endless possibilities. We have all been there and done that at times.

As you say in your own post on your site now..

That’s a lesson learned. Copy what you write before you trust the Publish button to do the job.

Some people I know get so paranoid about losing data in posting that they save copies and post to their blog with programs like wbloggar and blogdesk. Copy and paste works for me ??
