Blog Entry Thumbnails

I am in the midst of changing themes for our production site. I Like OceanWP. So in development environment I working on getting the setting right. I is blog style website. Very simple.
What I cannot figure out is why OceanWP is not pulling the thumbnail sized image from the uploads directory and using that as one would expect.
I have seen answers for adding Custom CSS to the theme which does work. However, one should have to do that with the base theme as that is set in the WP Settings area (150px by 150 px). Am I missing a setting somewhere.

Yes I have regenerated the thumbnails multiple times
