    Hi all,
somebody has hacked my blog: https://www.tantrayogi.com.ar
and now in the index page apears a gif image with some turkish words and this message: Hacked By Badw0rm

Seems that the hacker managed to block my access to the Logs directory in the server, and obviously has changed my WP password so I cant access to WordPress.

I don’t know what to do in order to remove that screen and take some security guidelines.

    I apreciate any help!
    Thanks!

Thanks God, the content is still there (https://tantrayogi.com.ar/?p=27) , so I will save each post and I guess I will delete everithing and start over again.
What is weird is that I’ve set everithing cmod 755…
What other security advice should I follow?

What is weird is that I’ve set everithing cmod 755…

you dont want everything chmod 755

    you want directories chmod 755

you want files to be chmod 644

Thanks! What do you mean by files to be chmod 644?
Which files should I change to 644?

Currently my public_html directory is chmod 755, should I change it and just set to 755 the wordpress directories?

    Thanks again!

Read it again: files and directories are two [2] different things.

    For example:
    /wp-content/ – is a directory
    index.php – is a file

    What is so complicated?

    I mean this..

    wp-content/ is a directory

    wp-config.php is a file

they should NOT have the same permissions.

If you dont know the difference between a directory and a file we are in big trouble.

Leave the directory, public_html, alone. Its a directory.. The permissions on that are correct.

Which files should I change to 644?

Any of them that are chmod 755 right now.
