• I recently migrated from blogspot to WP..the free version.

I am having a challenging time in trying to do a few simple things. Is there a way to look at the code of the current template that I am using? There is a customized page to add links, but how do you add some buttons and RSS image feeds? I also want to add a calendar, and other images to the sidebar. How do I upload pictures in any posting? How do I do all of this?

I have checked every option in the dashboard, write, manage, links and options category but drew a blank? What am I missing?

Thanks in advance for anyone who sends in their helpful suggestions, leads, recommendation or tips.

    K

    It’s all free ??

    Do you mean WordPress.com ?

    yes, wordpress.com

I, too, have come here from Blogger, have some minimal understanding of coding, but prefer to start out with the wordpress.com E-Z version.

Please provide even one page of instructions, help, and a list of limitations to that E-Z version. The many, many pages I have perused regarding how-to in wordpress seem to apply to the host-your-own version. Is word-wrap available for pictures in the E-Z version? Do we have access to the CSS for the E-Z version? I like to change template colors, and I like to put my pics where I want them.

    TY to whomever.

This is WordPress.ORG, a place for support of the stand-alone version of WordPress. If you’re looking for .COM support, this is not the place.

nutme6: You cannot customize the CSS or layout of the themes at WordPress.com, at least last I checked. This also is a question best asked and answered at the above link though. ??
