    Hello,

    In Setting ? Reading Settings ? Front page displays I have set the Front page to “— Select —” and the Posts page to “News“. This way the blog page will be my homepage. However, my canonical URL shows as “https://example.com/news” instead of “https://example.com“, this impacts my SEO in a bad way.

    This isn’t exactly related to the theme per se, but I’m wondering how I could solve this.

    Nevermind, I found a solution myself.
    I left both Front page and Posts page blank and added metadata manually.
