• I just ditched Blogger Import and installed Blog Importer Extended about 2 weeks. Easy enough and authenticated blogs. First import was successful.

Tried to import new blogs on Wednesday. Plugin looks to be functioning, finds the blogs and recognized posts, pages, etc. to import, assign authors, get the smiley face “Done” but no entries are imported.

I have tried several times but cannot figure out why. I am a new wordpress user so it is probably me (user error.) Can anyone advise me on what I can do?

Please help – still have the same issue.

I am having the same issue. It says it is all done, but I do not see anything regarding my Blogger on my website or anywhere on the back end where I could place it into my site.

Yuri, We need you help. Please do not igore us. We need some resolution please.

Any other users have this issue?

    Hi all,

Copy&Paste from some posts before ??

For the moment there is no way to continue an import already completed.

Maybe in a future release I could implement this functionality, I should think about it.

    Best regards
    Yuri

    Yuri,

Im having the same issue, I get a smile and all done with a solicitation for a paypal donation but my new blogs arent posted to my site? It worked one day and then failed the next just as the above people have mentioned.

I was able to make it work by going in to the database and doing this
    DELETE FROM wp_mwhbxnc0dn_options WHERE option_name LIKE ‘bie_status_%’

I found this post “https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/re-import-failed?replies=6” Elhea has a good explanation of how to get to the database I am not sure I could explain it any better

I did not delete any post I just deleted that row in the database and reran the tool and it got all the posts and did not duplicated the posts it could have overwrote what was there but I did not care about that just wanted the new stuff so I could get ready to go live with a clients site.
