• Hi-
Can’t seem to put the overall blog into the menu. I can add posts, but i want a blog page to be listed in Menu?

I may have deleted something? I started with the BoomBox theme and am now trying Twenty Twenty. Is there a way to do a reset and start over?
    Thank you
    md

  • In Appearance>Customise have you defined which page you want your posts to appear? You need to place that page in your menu (via Appearance>Menus) and it should show up. I hope that helps.

thank you, that is what i want to do, but i dont know how to do that. I am using the theme 2016, and i see the POSTS under PAGES but can only get posts to show up in the menu? I must be missing something very easy or obvious?
    thanks

I looked at a general install of the latest wordpress and activated the theme twenty sixteen. The Blog is a page automatically in the setup I believe. The Blog page is the listing or whatever of the posts. You can modify exactly how this appears.

Dashboard > Appearance > Customise > Home Page
will get you to where Posts Page is specified. It appeared as Blog on my install.

    I hope this helps you.

It will use the title of the page, so if your posts page is titled “Posts” then it will appear as “Posts” in the menu.

If you want it to appear as “Blog” in the menu, re-title the page as “Blog”.
