blog in multiple languages in specific subfolders

  • Have a magento storefront setup as follows (domain is not yet active):

    steripeneurope.com/gb
    steripeneurope.com/fr
    steripeneurope.com/de
    steripeneurope.com/es
    steripeneurope.com/it

    Each is just a language-specific version of the same store.

    What I’d like to do is implement a wordpress implementation so that for each language, the blog could be implemented as a subfolder for each like this:
    steripeneurope.com/gb/blog
    steripeneurope.com/fr/blog
    steripeneurope.com/de/blog
    steripeneurope.com/es/blog
    steripeneurope.com/it/blog

    Like Magento storefront, same exact content, just display the blog in each subfolder specific to the language.

    Can this be easily done using wpml, multisite or other plugins?

    any help is greatly appreciated.

  • i use qtranslate, and it can display the urls as you listed.. but they’re not real folders
    – i used xlanguage times ago, but don’t remember its settings
    – never used wpml
    – multisite doesn’t create real folders either

    but, if you’re running magento and wordpress, i think there’s possibility for some conflict… maybe not, if you manage to prevent WP from having a ‘root level’…
