    Hi Sybre,

At the moment I have a bit of a weird issue. Whenever I activate the “The SEO Framework” plugin, the blog index page doesn’t show any of the posts.

When I disable your plugin, the post do show up again.

This happens on any theme I activate. At the moment I have the default 2017 theme active and disabled all plugins.

I will try and see if I can get my hands on a error log file, and will update this post when I got one.

My initial guess / gut feeling is that your plugin is not at fault, but the WP db is somehow corrupted. This based on a similar situation I had to deal with a month ago. But the error logs should be to help in validating my “gut feeling.

What little info I can share with you now is the following:

    Server: Apache/2.4.33 (Unix) OpenSSL/1.0.2g
    PHP-version: 7.1.17
    PHP post max size: 1GB
    PHP time limit: 30
    PHP max input vars: 5000
    WP memory limit: 257

    WP version: 4.9.6
    Theme: Twenty Seventeen v1.6

    Hi @droidism,

Could you check out the “SEO Settings -> General Settings -> Performance -> Query Alteration Settings”?

I think your site should work as intended again if you’d disable the “archive query alteration”.

If the alteration is performed “In the database”, there might be a plugin conflict (or your assimilation is correct).
If it’s performed “On the site”, then you might wish to check the Archive settings on your latest posts.

I hope this steers you in the right direction! I’d love to know your findings.

    Cheers ??

@cybr Thanks for your quick reply.

It’s save to assume that I’m an complete and utter idiot.

Somehow the checkbox for “Exclude this Post from all archive listings.” was enabled on all the posts. Found this out by your comment about checking the Archive settings on my latest posts.

I had a really hard time imagining that The SEO Framework had a bug, for the simple fact that it’s been a rock solid, fast performing plugin from v0.1 and onwards. This was confirmed after enabling WP_DEBUG and adding Query Monitor in the mix. Smooth sailing as usual…

I’m really sorry for causing a ruckus, and I will check the settings way, way better next time.

To end on a positive note: I learned something new today… ;0

    Concider this non-issue closed!

Duh… I’m the one that needs to close the issue. Guess it’s one of those days.

    ?? Don’t worry about it @droidism.

WordPress’ and TSF’s interface and logic behind it still has a steep learning curve and leaves a lot to be desired. ??
