Blog is not Publishing

Hi,

I am new to WordPress and am just starting to set up my blog. However, when I save my changes and publish those changes, they do not become live. It seems to take several hours or a day for changes to become live. I’ve already tried clearing my cache and deactivating my plugins, what else should I do? Thanks
