Blog is showing full articles when it has been set to Summary

Hi, I wonder if anyone can shed some light on a problem I have?

For some reason (despite all of the settings in the website set to show ‘Summary’ information of 55 words) my Blog (news & resources) is showing the summary information, then the rest of the article after that.

I am using a Pagelines Theme on the website, however, as part of my trouble shooting process, I have reverted this back to Twenty11 them & Twenty10, disabled all of the plugins but still seem to have the problem.

I’m loathed to have to reinstall WordPress, so thought I would shout out to the forum before taking this drastic measure!
