Blog loads very slow

I’m having a problem with load time being very slow. I added a couple of plug in “CDN Tools & Better Delete Revision Manager”. CDN is suppose to speed up the blogs load time, & Better Delete deletes all revision made from the admin page; however after calling Host Gator, they were able to clear the system, which helped on load time.

When I loaded CDN Tools, I didn’t open an account with CDN, I’m using the Google AJAX CDN; could this be the problem?

Should I use the “CDN Tool & Better Delete Revision Manager”, or is there a better plug in to that helps keep your blog loading fast?
