Blog main title page

I have never been so confused in making a website. I notice that other webcomic sites, when you click a specific comic on top of the web browser window it says “Their comic name | Title of comic post” I am using headway theme because I know nothing about coding. I feel like I am doing something wrong. Like my post aren’t set up in the right area. Lastly, what is the difference between blog index and a home page… i had my main page part of blog index but “Whoops wrong page” would show up in the title on the top part of the web browser window
