I really like this plugin and as my network expands it should become even more useful. The only problem is, when I change the name of a blog, the plugin is still listing it by the old name.

–> I’ve tried deactivating the plugin and resaving the General Settings page then reactivating the plugin. Didn’t work.
–> I thought maybe there was a plugin conflict so I deactivated all other plugins and just activated this one. Didn’t work.
–> I even deleted the plugin and reinstalled it. Still didn’t work.
–> I tried several database cleaner plugins and none of them could find any data left over from deleting this plugin. So, I couldn’t even clean out the old data from the database and start over.
–> I even tried a different browser in case it was a browser cacheing issue. Still didn’t work.

This is really weird. Any idea how this can be fixed? This is the only plugin I can find that groups the My Sites list, a feature I really would like to have.

    Thanks in advance!

Yep, my plugin heavily caches its generated menu because wordpress is EXTREMELY slow in generating its sites list – this is very noticable the more sites you have. You’ll notice many of my recent changes have focused solely on performance and caching.

To answer your question, you can go to Your Site – Network – Settings – Multisite Admin Bar Switcher and hit the ‘Clear Cache’ button. Hopefully that’ll do it. If not, let me know and I’ll look into it.

Ah ha! Thank you – worked like a charm.

I thought it might have been a cache issue (hence my trying a different browser), but didn’t realize the plugin had its own cache.

On a different note, any plans to have an option for the site list to be accessed from an icon (rather than words)?

On a small mobile screen, where WP defaults to an icon instead of words, the list disappears. It shows again when the tablet is turned sideways to create more screen space, but an icon would be a nice feature. Although, it’s probably more difficult than it seems.

    Thanks again!

Yes agreed – I can add this. I’ll get it happening soon.

BTW If you’re happy with the plugin, I’d really appreciate a 5 star review ??

Mobile menu has now been added in v1.2.3. Let me know how it goes.
