• Hi everyone,

my blog posts only show up if I set the option within Settings – Reading to “Front page displays” = “Your last post”.
If I set “Front page displays” = “Static page”, the blog page is constantly empty.

The blog page template is set to “blog”.
The blog page shows up if I click on “preview changes”.
The blog page does not show if I clisk on “preview page”

I am aware this may be a theme-specific issue. I did contact the wp theme creators (https://blog.hhcolorlab.com/topic/black-white-theme/page/4/#post-8670), however I think the theme is not suported anymore.

Therefore I would be very grateful for your help.

    My page is https://www.janajarecki.com.

Do you have any idea what could cause this misbehavior? I really would love to solve this.

    Did you test another theme?

Using an outdated and unsupported theme is likely to continue to be problematic ?? .

    Hi WPyogi,
yeah I tested on another theme… and you are absolutely correct, it works there.

    I suspected so.

However, I thought one of the much-more-than-I wordpress experts here might have a clever idea what I could do…

I noticed that in the preview of the blog – which works (i.e. the blog is shown) – the heading of the blog page is equal to the heading of the static page, that I set as the front page (in this case my “MYSELF” page)…
