Blog only shows titles

Have you tried switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

thank you for your reply. I use Twenty Ten. I found that the problem stems because I set the home page as a static page. When I set the blog as the default home everything appears normally. However, I would prefer to have the blog not as my default home and wondered if there is a way to wrk round this….

The Twenty Ten theme shpws post excerpts – not just titles – on the main posts (Blog) page. Have you published any posts yet?

If you want a static page, you have to create one.

Hi Yes I did. Currently they are on the main web page: https://www.hadarweitzman.com and they appear correctly. However, if I turn the home page to a static page and move the blog to another page then I only get titles…

What have you set for the front page & the main posts page in Settings -> Reading?

I selected: Home= A static page (select below)

Front page: Real Estate Blog
Blog pages show at most 10 posts
Syndication feeds show the most recent 10 items
For each article in a feed, show For each article in a feed, show Full text

Try reviewing Creating_a_Static_Front_Page again. The theme works fine for me with the Blog page producing a listing that is identical to your current front page.

I have reviewed “creating a static Front page”, I have worked according to it exactly. Still, when the blog page is not home default – only titles show up!

I think that the cause for my problem is that the rss feed contains only titles. my feed at: hadarweitzman.com/feed
Question is how to change the feed settings.
I have the settings at: “show full post” but still see only titles…
