    Hi there

I have just installed Sermon Manager and all is working except that when I go to play the audio (so I can eventually download the file) my theme creates the page at this link https://ljbaptist.com.au/sermons/safety-first-with-jesus/ simply called “Blog”.

How do I change the meaningless name “Blog” to something more useful please? is that created by Sermon manager or from within my theme do you think? And how can I get the formatting of the page appearance to be like other pages on my church website please – no sidebars, no post capacity. What am I missing ehre … ?

Thank you for your assistance – much appreciated!

    Wayne

  • I’m not a developer, just a guy that has too much free time…lol! The ‘Blog’ is from your theme and not Sermon Manager. You can verify this by switching to one of the default WP themes, like ‘TwentyNineteen’.

You can try turning on ‘Theme Compatibility’ (Sermons > Settings > Advanced) and see if ‘Blog’ goes away and the sidebars go away. If that doesn’t help, the easiest way to remove those is to hide them in CSS…unless you’re versed on creating a custom template(s) for Sermon Manager.
