Hi Ashe support team,

Good day. Recently Google Search Console has informed me that my website has occurred ‘text too small to read’ and ‘clickable elements too close together’; which raised mobile viewability issue.

The pages that Google Search Console error occurred:

Upon further checking, there were two points that we found which are as below:

1. Under the search bar, the magnifying glass is overlapping with the search text box in certain mobile views.

2. The spacing between affiliate disclaimer, privacy policy and terms and condition for the bottom menu is too close and requires to be spread out further.

As such, could you advise if there is a way to do the following?`

1. Is it possible to create a proximity between the magnifying glass and the text box to ensure they both don’t overlap?

2. Any possibility to increase the space between the options under the bottom menu?

Hi @yentravelsjapan

1. To be honest we can’t find any issue with the magnifying glass and the text box, we checked almost on all kinds of mobile screens and browsers, can you please share the screenshot of the issue? It helps us to investigate issues faster.

2. Footer menu, as you mentioned, we created a CSS snippet to increase the space between them, Please navigate to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS section add the following snippet:
```
#footer-menu a {
  padding-right: 10px;
}
```

Hi support team,

For issue no 2, I have managed to increase the spacing. Thanks for the snippet.

For issue no 1, the Google support guys informed me there is a minor spacing between the magnifying glass icon and the text bar. According to them, that is causing the elements to overlap in a way and eventually caused the issue in Google Search Console of ‘clickable elements too close’.
