• Hi, I recently noticed that my blog page doesn’t work but only when I set the reading to blog. If I set the posts to display on a differently named page then the posts show up. Example new page would be blogs.

You can see the page here healncure.com/blog.

Is this something I have to fix in the cpanel. I was trying to setup subdomains and I don’t know if that has caused this problem.

    Any ideas?

  • Looks like your index.php file is causing this to happen.

I am using the Avada theme so I am not sure how the file was edited. I also have never touched .php files. You don’t think this is a server issue?

The problem is not theme-related. It is probably the site url that is incorrect. What does value for the site url say when you go to the backend -> Settings -> General?

    Under general settings for:
    WordPress Address (URL): https://www.healncure.com
    Site Address (URL): https://www.healncure.com

Are you asking for a different value?

The only reason I mention server because I created a sub domain blog.healncure.com so I could redirect a blogger site. I don’t think anything else in cpanel would effect this.

Ah I see. The subdomain may be causing this issue. Have you talked to your hosting provider about this?

I just did, they said it could be the reason. They mentioned that deleting the sub domain would take 4-8 hours to take effect. That’s the only reason I was thinking any other page name would work and not “blog”. I guess I will have to wait and see what happens.

I see. All right. If the problem still persists, let me know.

I guess that wasn’t the problem. I could always make a different page and redirect anything from blog to the new page but I would still like to know why this is happening.

Do you have any other suggestions?

    Thank you for responding!

I would suggest then to create a new page like you already said and this should work.
