The theme offers a slider and a set of featured pages on the front page.

I have featured pages on my front page. The home page is static and I’m pleased with it. The “blog” page only shows posts. Its boring at the top.

On my page that is dedicated to blog post. I have not information showing after the header area. I have the breadcrumbs and page title but then just the posts. I would like to have some wording or pics in that area before launching into the posts.

I plan to switch to the AVADA theme eventually because it seems to require less coding. I am nervous about changing code.
