Blog page not available after installation

Hi there,

In some cases blog page might not be added if you already had a page named blog. Can you check if that wasn’t the case? If it was you can just delete or rename it and install demo content again.

Actually I found good use for the blog posts and archive pages, without the actual blog page itself. But would you know of any negative effects this might have on search indexing/ranking; the ‘not having a central blog page’? 

FYI: I’m contacting your agency for a possible full grid version of? Lemmony (I’m Bert).

We re-installed Lemmony on https://asaplr.com/ (and we have a clean basic test-setup, no heavy plugins), but no Blog Page, and this time none of the menu navigation links to the pages, it simply links to the generic #, although the pages are available. We can fix navigation off course but I’m worried the installation isuue might come around at some point.  

Could you perhaps have a look at our dash? I’ve contacted your agency on Facebook about a project (Bert), perhaps we can take it from there.

We removed the website and database, and re-did everything from scratch, also removed any existing wordpress demo content before installing the theme.

You have logins on our Facebook contact, testsite is for testing Lemmony so you can have your way, I just really want this wonderful theme to kick in.

The blog page is optional; you can use it either way. If all your blog posts are accessible through other means, that should be fine.

No worries. By default, that’s how our installation works. We simply place placeholder links, making it easy for you to replace them with the actual links you want to display.

Thanks for the update, good to know, but the blog page itself is missing from the install and we tried everything.

Would you mind terribly logging in with the details sent on facebook and see about the issue? I’d really love this theme to shine! ??

Oh, the Blog page was included in our Lemmony Agency child theme demo content. After activating it and installing the demo content, you now have a Blog page. ??

We are also considering adding it to the main theme, as it seems that would make more sense.

Thanks so much this is great, you guys did such a wonderful job on the theme. Yes, I’d give it a facelift as a standalone blogging homepage. Would look great with the other Lemmony elements.
