Issue Blog page. It only shows the title whereas had expected it might show all or some of the actual blog ( image and text)
If you click on the title blog opens in full . Not what I expected Any clues please?

In your Customizer, from either Appearance > Customize in your site’s Dashboard or Customize from the top admin bar, open the Content Options section and select “Full post.”

Hello James thanks I dont have that option under content options
Under Excerpt settings : there is “on archive pages show > summary> full text ?
tried that doesn’t make any difference Haven’t got an Archive page

From what was once the great hype blogging platform W Press I’m thinking I may just be expecting too much.. Thought my blog page could show title /image and read more as some sort of standard offering.
C’est la vie. But I’ve just found “twentig” seems a sort of companion pug in to 20-21 theme
    Maybe that will do it.
It has taken so much frustration/ wp reset to find 20-21 theme as best for a newbie to get started. Stumbled here. Doubtful in both cerebral hemispheres Ms O

Are you sure you’re using the Twenty Twenty-One theme?

Here are screenshots (green highlights added by me) of what you should see:

    Main Customizer view: https://d.pr/i/JLiftt

    Content Options: https://d.pr/i/yw4y25

This is WordPress 5.6.2 running Twenty Twenty-One 1.1.

Hello James yes 20 21. Word “Blog” is nowhere in “content” options here as you illustrate. Simply not there. ( unpaid version )
There is something similar in ” excerpts ? Dont miss the point .
To make my frustration clear : (Can we escalate this to the authors)
Your illustration screenshot post Hello World sums it up
I am a newbie to WP Guess like many I would start my experience with twenty twenty one
Was doing so well with it Particularly with a utube tutorial form david utke

The I went off the cliff at Posts/ Blog page. Ilustration Hello World you give is exactly about all the blog page can look like to my frustration . But as newbie / no previous experience, maybe that s it . I expect too much to think I could have a title image and a few words ?
So message to authors 2021. Love it so far Put me out of my newbie misery Give me a demo /tutorial . on what I can do with presentation of my blog page. Or if the illustration hello world is all. then just please say so.

Thanks guys anyway. It just somehow w press was market blog leader and I just think I must be missing something here. Cant think I’m the only one Stuck Ms O

    1. Have you selected a Posts page at Settings > Reading in your site’s Dashboard? That’s required.

1b. If you already have, would you please use https://snipboard.io to share two screenshots of what you see at the two Customizer points from my screenshots shared earlier?

    2. What are you using to display your posts in a grid at https://mwas.uk/blog/ ?
