    Hello Fotis,

I still have problems at getting a slider on a Blog Page.
It does not matter weather the blog page is the home page or not. I would prefer to have my blog page separate from the home page. Either way, I was not able to get the slider with the code you gave me earlier.

The only thing I figured out is to have both a static home page and a blog page. Other than that I could not advance further ??

    thanks for your help.
    Cheers,
    Sonia

    Fotis,

I also check the response you sent to charmaine3perry on the front page to see if I could fix my problem, but confess I did not understand how we can clone the widget from the front page to have the slider…

    Hi there,
do you have any featured images in your posts(https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Post_Thumbnails)? Slider actually uses these images to render.
Also make sure you have enabled the slider from Appearance->Customize->Front Page Carousel (https://prnt.sc/ixydvh)?
Can you send me the page you have set as a blog page from Settings->Reading?

    Hi Fotis,

I did not remember the slider for the Front Page. It works on the front page now… albeit it is still a construction page… I let it on just for you to see at:

Yes, I do have some images on “Test” blog pages. But the blog “roll” Blog page does not have the slider ??

An on the blog page I do not get images with the short text… is supposed to be like this? Or is it because I removed the featured image from the blog page with the css.code? It does show on

    Thanks.

    Fortis,

OK. I am going with the blog as the home page with the slider for now. Maybe later I will figure out how to add the slider to a blog page in addition to having a static home page…
    Cheers,
    Sonia

Let me know if you need additional help on this.
